Garden Dining
A table beneath bamboo, blossoms and a canopy of little stars. Dinner with the weather in the room — first a breeze, then a song, then dessert.
Under a roof of fairy-light constellations, a guitar leans into the dusk — the garden exhales, the table waits, and somewhere between the first sip and the last note, strangers become kin.
In the old Urdu, rubaru means face to face — the closeness of two people sitting near enough to hear each other breathe between words. It's the kind of closeness no phone can fake, no restaurant can rush.
We took that word into a garden in Jeypore and built a room with no ceiling, only sky. We strung lights where stars would go. We put a guitar in the corner, kept the kitchen honest, and left enough space around every table for a whole conversation to land.
Roobaroo is what happens when you stop performing and start being present. It's dinner, but slower. It's a room, but with weather in it. It's the night, but you're in it.
The lanterns wake at dusk. The jasmine leans closer. Somewhere a string is tuned, a glass is poured, and the garden begins to listen.
Our dining room is open to the sky — bamboo beams, blossoms drifting overhead, fairy lights standing in for constellations on cloudy nights. On clear ones, they share.
Every night at Roobaroo is built around the same three promises — each one a small refusal to hurry.

A guitar unhurried, voices that carry. On our music nights the band plays to the fireflies first and the crowd second. You are welcome to hum along.
Reserve the whole garden. Birthdays, proposals, quiet triumphs, farewells that deserve a proper send-off — the night, tailored to a single story.
Grills that have seen a proper fire. Tandoor with a memory. Noodles the way you want them, biryani the way we want them. Nothing loud, everything honest.

Music nights at Roobaroo are not a show. They're a slow conversation between a musician, a garden, and whoever happens to be listening. Bring your favourite person. Order a second mocktail. Stay for the encore that no one announced.
A call is fastest — our team answers from the garden itself. WhatsApp is quietest. The form below sends a booking message straight to our phone.
